Robert W. Myles Jr. is President and CEO of Myles Consulting Group LLC, a company he founded after serving over 31 years in the US Army. Myles Consulting Group is a service disabled veteran-owned small business professional services firm that provides management consulting, business development, program management, and information technology to government and commercial entities.
Mr. Myles holds two Master of Science degrees from Troy University and National Defense University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Bowie State University. He has also completed the U.S. Army Training with Industry Program at Harris Corporation in Palm Bay, FL. He also attended the Eisenhower School of National Security and Resources Strategy. He holds several professional certifications to include Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III certifications in both Program Management and Contracting. His major military awards include the Bronze Star Medal, Defense Superior Service Medal, and Legion of Merit.
His vision is to build a business of talented professionals with a winning attitude, providing solutions to our client’s challenging requirements. Through his 31 years of government experience, Mr. Myles has achieved tremendous success in contracting and program management at the senior level. He has been an acquisition leader at every level of the Department of Defense. He has advised and guided senior political appointees and military leaders on some of the most critical government acquisition issues.
Mr. Myles is committed to serving the community. As a former board member of the Bowie State University Foundation, Mr. Myles’ leadership and dedication have played a significant role in providing scholarships and opportunities to students. He is a mentor to young men and women, helping them to find resources for higher education.
